Call me Dragon Tour and Giveaway!

Call Me Dragon Dragon Fires Rising Book 1 by Marc Secchia Genre: Humorous Fantasy Call me Dragon. It’s the last thing you’ll ever do. Blitz the Devastator has never done a decent day’s devastating in his life. Fireless, artistic and shunned by his Dragon Clan, he struggles to pillage even the meanest village. A future full of misery and failure beckons. This much is true until the day the burly brown Dragon successfully – imagine that – kidnaps the Princess Azania. As a black Princess of T’nagru, this spirited beauty is by definition the most unforgettable woman in the seventeen realms. Knights errant, men-at-arms and sundry Princes expire at her feet in drivelling worship. Unfortunately, they all want his scaly head on a platter shortly thereafter. Goes with the territory. To Blitz’s consternation, the royal nuisance refuses to behave herself and be a typical pampered Princess. With humour, unconventional flair and the odd stomp of her diminutive slipper, she se

Call me Dragon released

Call me Dragon. It's the last thing you'll ever do! I had so much fun writing this tale, I can hardly tell you. The inspiration was the cover, which I found while browsing for something quite different.   Blitz the Devastator is a fireless, lonely dragon who would rather be painting artworks than doing any actual devastating. One day, largely by accident, he kidnaps the Black Rose of the Desert, Princess Azania.   As a black Princess, she is by definition the most beautiful woman in the 17 realms. Knights swoon at her feet - which is awkward with a Dragon in the way. Unless they slay him first, of course.   Azania, being a less than conventional royal, promptly sets about arranging matters to  her  satisfaction.   Oh no! Who will save the Dragon from the Princess? Available on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, and in Print.

The Dragon Loremaster

I am delighted to announce the release of The Dragon Loremaster , Volume #2 in my award-winning Scrolls of Fire series, on August 9th. What is darkness? “How may a soul pine for that which it has never known? For a sightless person, to be seen is a miracle that defies imagination.” Auli-Ambar, a girl born blind and with severe facial deformities, has risen from the ashes of her meagre beginnings to grasp a new destiny amongst the Dragons of Gi’ishior. Yet the scourge of her heritage burns lambent within her bones. Many wish such an accursed creature nothing but ill; none could imagine the crucible of darkness through which she must pass. A crushing misfortune, an unthinkable diagnosis, a cabal of murderers and an impossible duality of magic that threatens to tear her apart, are only some of the challenges facing one who must defy all the odds to live. She will journey to the soul’s very nadir, and find hope beyond. For Auli-Ambar is a survivor. Enigma. Protector of Dragons, and confida

Mister Drainpipe release

I'm alive! Apologies for the long silence. I've become aware that my website is woefully out of date and I'm working on some exciting updates for it. What do you think of this as an idea: My most recent release is Mister Drainpipe, a contemporary literary novel set in Addis Ababa.  Add caption "Discover the power of restored dignity" Homeless, alone, haunted by the shadows of the past, Mister Drainpipe is a beggar cast adrift on the streets of Addis Ababa. He ekes out life inside a concrete drain, atop a pile of rubbish.
