Dragonsoul is coming ...

Back at it! I'll hopefully be posting up photos from my trip around northern Ethiopia on my blog soon. Today, I wrote the first words of Dragonsoul, part #3 of Dragonfriend. They are:
"She's dying."
I've a rip-roaring adventure planned for you! I've been looking forward to writing this tale for months now, making despicable plans for the antagonists until they meet their deserved ends and our triumphant MC's fly into an Island-World suns-set together ... yes, I'm a sucker for a happy ending. 'Nuff said!
Between, there will be dragons, battles, soul-searching, adventure, Dragon lore, romance and a very special surprise for those of you who loved a certain character in Dragonfriend Book #1. Not to mention the wakening of a rogue Ancient Dragon mentioned in The Onyx Dragon, the genesis of the Dragon Rider tradition, a ride down a frozen nostril and an unlikely cavalier rescue.
I hope to provide high entertainment, thrills aplenty, wild Dragon battles above and below the Cloudlands, and oh, there's that little detail about how white dragonets turn up in Immadia in Aranya's time. And we lose the Lost Islands. That's why they're "lost", right?
Challenge: fit all of that into one book!

  10. My next book is The Horse Dreamer which I'll release this Sunday, 5th June. I don't have a fixed date for Dragonsoul as yet. Mid-July would be my best guess at this point - I tend to write up to close to a release date as I edit as I go along :-) - I'm keen to get it done! Working hard!
